Between the 14th and the 15th of April 2018, the association organised a family weekend in the Marienheim House from Timișoara. This family event began on Saturday with the assembling of the yurt, the members of the association being accompanied by their families. During the event opening, we welcomed the participants and we presented the association’s activity on the year to come. We also presented the donation recieved from the Museum of Eger, a national flag that stood on the top of the Eger fortress until 17th of October last year. We continued the event by emphasizing the exceptional result obtained by Babău Maximilian in the Balassi Sword Fighting Cup, event in which our colleague obtained the Ist place. Last, but not least, Cziprián Kovács Kinga obtained the IInd place in the runic writing tournament held in Transylvania. For his results, the team awarded Babău Maximilian with a XVIth century sword. After lunch, we had a lot of activities divided on age categories, thus, the parents could observe on site our weekly baranta training activities. Later on that day, our guests could play the game that we named The Treasure Hunt, in which could participate the parents and children alike. We called off the day by singing songs and eating bacon around the fire camp. We would like to thank all of our families and friends who participated in this successful event.
